Congratulations to all those new students who have just found out that they’re coming to Durham in 2022-23. You’ll have a great experience studying in our beautiful city.

The Catholic Chaplaincy is here for you from the day you arrive in Durham. The Chaplaincy is a place of prayer and worship, and a welcoming community. If you want to understand your faith more deeply; if you have questions and need some honest answers; if you want to make friends who share your Catholic beliefs and values; if you want to put your faith into action, you can do all these things at the Chaplaincy, based at St Cuthbert’s Church in Old Elvet. Look out for the Catholic Society at the Freshers’ Fair, and for the CathSoc Rep at your college. We look forward to welcoming you!
