Visiting Preacher and Chaplaincy Dinner

Fr Wulstan Peterburs OSB and a bottle of beerThis Sunday, 29 November 2015, we welcome as celebrant and preacher at the 6:30pm Student Mass Fr Wulstan Peterburs OSB of Ampleforth Abbey. Fr Wulstan studied Theology at Castle (BA 1986-1989; PhD 1991-1994) and was a mentor (then called College Tutor) at St Mary’s (1992-1994); he then moved to Ampleforth as a lay teacher in the school, and in 1998 entered the monastic community. After being head of Religious Studies and housemaster he is now Procurator (i.e. Bursar) of the Abbey, and is behind Ampleforth Abbey Beer!

After Mass there will be a reception for all students in the Chaplaincy with an opportunity to meet Fr Wulstan. He will then be our guest for the second Chaplaincy Dinner of the term; if you didn’t get a place at this dinner, don’t worry: there will be more opportunities next term.
