Call for Papers

Durham University’s Michael Ramsey Centre for Anglican Studies and the Centre for Catholic Studies, in collaboration with Durham Cathedral, Ushaw College and Palace Green Library, are organising a conference to mark the 450th anniversary of The Northern Rebellion (or Rising of the Northern Earls) in 2019: From Rebellion to Reconciliation: Anglican-Catholic Relations from 1569 to the Present – Regional, National, and International Perspectives. At Durham, 17-19 September 2019. Short papers of no more than 20 minutes are invited. Potential speakers should submit a 250-word abstract of their papers, and a one-page CV, to admin.cas@durham.ac.uk by Friday 30 November. A limited number of bursaries are available for postgraduate students.
